1. n00b Drake - in EVE New Citizens Q&A [original thread]
i know that's not the thing you want to hear but it sounds like you shouldn't buy a BC at all and train up your combat skills first. i have seen new players rushing into a BC, fitting it with frigate modules and getting blown up in their first lvl...

2. Need Skill-Help - in EVE New Citizens Q&A [original thread]
I'd suggest you train up your fight skills and don't do any of those mining skills atm. why? - in a corp mining, you could do the transport runs (you can fly an industrial ship so that's already solved) - when the mining op is in 0.0 you could als...

3. Overwhelmed - in EVE New Citizens Q&A [original thread]
Eve is pure PVP - but only if you realize that PVP doesn't always and only mean "I'll blow up your ship" - it might also mean "I'll sell my ore cheaper than you sell yours" Welcome to Eve

4. Catching up in Skill pts for competitve play - in EVE New Citizens Q&A [original thread]
just yesterday I thought how limited pvp in WOW is - you can hardly pvp without being 70 - eve is different, forget about that lvl-thing asap! in eve you can pvp with cheap ships and be effective - skill points matter, but not as much as u think....

5. Chat Channels? - in EVE New Citizens Q&A [original thread]
as noone answered so far, I'll try my best: if you create a channel, you don't have to set yourself an operator - if there is the right-click-option-tab available, you're an operator if someone else started a channel there is no way to make it yo...

6. New player - a few questions - in EVE New Citizens Q&A [original thread]
as you might know, there is a skill that allows you to lock more targets at once - makes it also a bit easier I think the approach you are using for skills (i want to use an item, i train the necessary skills) isn't all that bad - as long as yo...

7. How does I issue shares? - in EVE New Citizens Q&A [original thread]
after the vote has closed, you will find the "create new shares"- vote in a tab called "sanctionable actions" (can't check now but i think that's what it's called) - you will have to activate the vote there

8. leaving a player corp for another player corp - in EVE New Citizens Q&A [original thread]
as the poster above said, you will have to remove all your roles and wait 24 hours - but afaik you don't have to quit the player corp; you can sign up for the other corp and change without being in a NPC corp.

9. Questions about trial account - in EVE New Citizens Q&A [original thread]
when the trial ends, your char will not be deleted right away - i think i recall CCP saying they keep it for half a year but players have told me that they reactivated a trial after 1 year ... you will have to pay a fee to upgrade your trial to a ...

10. COSMOS?? eh?? - in EVE New Citizens Q&A [original thread]
COSMOS refers to certain missions and complexes that are in the so-called COSMOS-regions ... the agents in question are floating in space and are not located in stations I can recommend to follow the links in the stickies in the forums section "m...
